Day 01

Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City + Cu Chi Tunnels

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, meet the local representative and transfer to the hotel for check-in, subject to the hotel’s check-in time. Proceed to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive underground network associated with Vietnam’s wartime history. Explore the site and learn about the tunnels’ strategic role and the conditions in which they were used. Return to Ho Chi Minh City after the visit. Overnight stay: Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 02

Mekong Delta Tour + Flight to Da Nang

After breakfast, check out and travel to My Tho for a Mekong Delta excursion. Enjoy a boat trip on the Tien River and views of the riverside islands traditionally known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise. Continue through smaller canals by sampan and experience the countryside. The tour includes a short village cycling experience, a visit to a coconut-candy workshop, seasonal fruit and honey tea, and an opportunity to listen to Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by local artists. Return to Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to the airport for the flight to Da Nang. On arrival, meet the local representative and transfer to the hotel. Day 03

Marble Mountains + Coconut Forest Basket Boat + Hoi An Ancient Town

After breakfast, meet the guide and head to the Marble Mountains, a cluster of limestone and marble hills known for caves, pagodas and viewpoints. Explore the mountain complex and, time permitting, visit caves such as Huyen Khong Cave and Thien Long Cave. Continue to Bay Mau Coconut Forest for a traditional basket-boat ride through the water coconut groves and an introduction to the local ecosystem and culture. In the late afternoon, visit Hoi An Ancient Town. Enjoy dinner featuring local food, see the Japanese Covered Bridge and explore the lantern-lit streets and night market. Day 04

Ba Na Hills + Golden Bridge + Flight to Hanoi

After breakfast, check out and travel to Ba Na Hills. Ride the cable car into the mountain resort and visit Le Jardin, the remains of French villas and Linh Ung Pagoda, known for its large Buddha statue. Continue by cable car towards the summit area. Visit the Golden Bridge, the celebrated elevated walkway supported by giant sculpted hands, and enjoy the surrounding mountain scenery. Lunch is planned as a buffet at a restaurant in Ba Na Hills. Explore the French Village and Linh Chua Linh Tu Temple. Day 05

Ninh Binh Day Tour: Hoa Lu + Tam Coc + Mua Cave

After breakfast, depart Hanoi for Ninh Binh, approximately 120 km away from Hanoi city. Take a short rest stop en route, then visit Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s former capital. Visit the temples of King Dinh and King Le and learn about the area’s history. Enjoy a cycling experience around a local village, followed by a buffet lunch featuring local dishes; vegetarian options are stated to be available. Continue to Tam Coc by a bamboo-boat journey of approximately 1.5 hours through rice fields, waterways and limestone scenery, often described as ‘Ha Long Bay on land’.
